Our Program

Every year, the Penn State Program in Writing and Rhetoric reaches approximately 13,000 students spread over approximately 550 sections of courses in First-Year Writing and Writing in the Professions.

Award-Winning

In 2013, the Program was awarded a Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) Writing Program Certificate of Excellence.

Two-Part Writing Sequence

A central part of Penn State education, the Program in Writing and Rhetoric reaches every student—without exception—through its two-part writing sequence.
